Description of establishment

Appartment for four people, recently restored with all facilities and placed in the farmhouse.

History

La Rierola opened its doors as a farmhouse guest house in the summer of 1993. It is a Manor House in the southern part of the municipality of Manlleu and was built in 1850. Architecturally it is a farmhouse with a square floor plan and a Gascon roof (with four slopes). According to the description included in the "Map of the Town of Manlleu and its municipality" published by the Town Council "it is the purest example in Manlleu, and one of the best in Osona of this kind of farmhouses which were built in the 19th century".

Specialities

As for specialities, there are residential stays, artistic events (piano concerts and poetry recitals), craft courses, work meetings, musical and cultural tourism. It is clearly a minority type of tourism with a more cultural flavour, far from city life and which allows our guests to understand what a farmer’s life is like.
