Accompanied by one of the museum guides, we visit the exhibition “the factory on the river”, exploring historic aspects of the industrialisation of the middle of the Ter. The exhibition includes a variety of fields that are historically linked through the process of mechanization of cotton spinning: Before the factory, king cotton, the factory, the unstoppable machine, the thread. During the visit we find experimental machines that help us to understand the process of the transformation of cotton into thread.

The visit is complemented with the exhibition, the Mediterranean Rivers, which presents a tour of the landscapes, hydrology, ecology, natural heritage, social and ecological aspects and some ideas for sustainable management of the Mediterranean rivers.

Guided tour for groups of at least 15 people.
