Just a few kilometres from Sant Pere de Torelló there are many different microclimates which allow
a great variety of glowers. This in turn allows a rich and varied production of a wide range of
flavours and colours of honey.

The visit includes an audiovisual presentation on the life and organization of these animals. During
the visit to the workshop, you will learn how honey is elaborated from extraction to filtering and finally how it is packaged.

OPTIONAL WORKSHOPS:

- The extraction of honey
- Candle making
- The different flavours of honey
- Visit the hives, from spring to autumn (from April to October), if weather permits, and suitably equipped in the same clothes and gear as professional beekeepers.

Prior reservations required.

Throughout the year (except winter) you can contemplate a natural swarm of bees.

DURATION
2 h or 2 h 30 min (with the visit to the hives). The workshops are approximately 1 hour long.

PRICE for 2011:

Audiovisual presentation and workshop visit: €5 per person
Audiovisual presentation, workshop and hives visit: €8 per person
Audiovisual presentation, workshop visit, 1 optional workshop and breakfast/tea: €15 per person
