The site of L’Esquerda is located on a peninsula of 12 hectares atop cliffs cut by the twisting Ter as it pushes down to Les Guilleries. There were continuous human settlements on this spot from prehistoric times, through the period of the Iberian culture and up to the Middle Ages.
Guided tours given the first Sunday of each month at noon.
The site includes signs and descriptions in English.

with the direct sources of history as protagonists, and the possibility to experience the deductive and scientific processes of archaeologists. The visit begins at the museum and ends at the L’Esquerda site.

ENTER MEDIEVAL BARN AND THE EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH AREA. Get up close and see how the open air laboratory works to investigate medieval agricultural techniques and storage systems.
