The Our Lady of La Gleva Sanctuary is a spot where many hikers make a stop along the GR-3 and PR C49 routes, and it is also close to highway C-17 between Barcelona and Puigcerdà. Many visitors also come to the sanctuary to admire its majestic altarpiece or the bedchamber where Father Jacint Verdaguer used during his stay in La Gleva between 1893 and 1895. The Virgin of la Gleva is the patron of the Vic Plain, and the sanctuary is considered a centre of pilgrimage for the people of Osona and groups from all over that lodge there for periods of retreat at this spiritual centre.
